Pramono Ensures Priority Programs Remain Continue

Jakarta Provincial Government is trying to ensure that the reduction in transfer funds from the central government will not disrupt the continuity of priority programs that affect the interests of the Jakarta people.

Jakarta Governor, Pramono Anung ensures priority programs such as the Jakarta Smart Card (KJP), the Jakarta Superior Student Card (KJMU), and diploma amnesty will continue.

"I will try my best to ensure that KJP, KJMU, diploma amnesty, programs related to the interests of the people are not disrupted," he said, Friday (10/3).

Pramono admitted that the Jakarta Provincial Government had received information regarding cuts to revenue-sharing funds (DBH) from the House of Representatives Budget Agency (DPR RI) for efficiency purposes.

"We must prepare in any situation. I've received information from the House of Representatives Budget Agency regarding the DBH cut program for efficiency purposes," he admitted.

Jakarta Provincial Government will recalculate its projected budget for next year. Therefore, the Governor held a special meeting today to discuss budget adjustment strategies.

The Governor emphasized that the Jakarta Provincial Government will continue developing Jakarta through various innovative initiatives. He cited the optimization of the use of Building Floor Coefficient (KLB) funds as an example.

"Jakarta wants to develop with breakthroughs. Regarding the KLB, which had been pending for perhaps 12 years, yesterday, it was finally agreed that it would be completed in 15 days," he explained.

He believes that this breakthrough in the licensing process encouraging entrepreneurs in Jakarta to take advantage of this facility.
